This club is solely for OCs. An OC is a Character or Creation that someone made by themself, for all of you who didn't know. Here at The Awesome OC Fan Club everyone to feel welcome, and their creations appreciated. Anyone is allowed to join, but there are a few rules.

~*:.Rules for this Club.:*~
1) No Flaming other members!! This is a COMMUNITY of artists who want to share their creations with on another. Everyone is an EQUAL here, and we don't want anyone afraid to come here because someone is harassing them or their creations.
2) No Fighting, with ANYONE!!! Yes, we are aware some people are not fond of own characters, we understand that. So please, do not harass us or our members because it will result in a report to the help desk, thus will close your account. No one wants that. If anyone sees a flame on our page or anything like that, please do not fight with the person, just report it to one of the club's owners and we will handle it.
3) The fighting rule goes out to all you non-members too. I don't want to report anyone, so keep any mean opinions to yourself. Thank you.
4) Be polite!! This is a place for artists to share their work with others. If you have something mean to say, keep it to yourself. Any people being rude to others, will be reported.
5)It is important that you create your OWN OCs. A picture of a real cartoon character or anime character with different colored hair, or eyes, or shirt DOESN'T COUNT. Don't you DARE take a picture of a character from a TV show and color over it on the computer. THAT DOESN'T COUNT.

I don't understand what you guys want. I'm very confused. Could you please explain it for me? We're sorry if this contest is a little confusing for you. All we want is a profile of your character. Kind of like: [link] We need a description of what kind of life your character has/had, how old they are, when their birthday is, what powers they have, an explanation of their personality, and everything else you think we'd need to read in order to 'get to know' your character. A few more examples are: [link] (belongs to but hers is unavailable right now, so I found it on photobucket. )

I can't think of any ideas, can you give me some suggestions? Of course we can!!! <3 That's what we're here for. lol. I'd have to say that to take your favorite TV show and make a person to come from it. Or make something out of your favorite animal or something.

It all started through a conversation on I.M. I (~Zelyn-Chan) was telling about how her OC, Kohji was awesome a desierved a fanclub. Then she said she was going to make on about my OC Selena. Then I said we should make a club honoring both of our OCs, then it became into a club to honor OCs in general.

We think that Own Characters are the best thing you can find here on devianart. Own characters are individual and can be anything their creators want. They can completely describe what their creator is feeling, or what they ultimately want to be, or even their worst fear. Own characters, though flamed by some people, deserve more attention than characters from a Tv show. That's how we feel in this club. For all we know our characters in the near future could become the new Mickey Mouse, or Naruto, or Yogi Bear, or even the next Superman. How many of you recognized at least three of those names? Exactly! ^_^ That's why here, at we honor all own characters/creations of all ages/races/genders/realms/everything!!

We honestly don't care what your character's occupation/race/gender/age/personality/history is. Own characters and their stories are probably the most creative thing a person can do in their spare time.

In conclusion, joining this club will give your creations the attention they deserve. This is a community of talented artists who love their creations so much, they want to honor them.

I asked to join, but I wasn't added to the member's list. Why is that? We must have missed you're watch-add. We add you to our member's list when we see that you added us to your watch list. Even if you asked, but didn't watch us, we won't remember to add you. Sorry.

I sent a note with a link to a piece of Art I wanted to upload, yet it's still not up, is there a reason for that? There could be many reasons why your art may not have been uploaded yet. We could have
One: Missed the note or accidentally deleted it.
Two: Forgot. We are human, so please be patient.
Three: Haven't gotten to it yet, and it will be up eventually, you will have to be patient.

I am probably not going to be done with my contest entry by the due date, but I really want to join in on the contest!! What do I do??? TT_TT Don't worry about it. If you have a feeling that you are going to miss the due date for ANY reason, just send us a quick note and we'll adjust the time for you. Unless you need say, another month and a half, I think it'll be okay to adjust the time. Don't sweat it!

What's the point of a club about OCs? Why did you make this? There's a long story behind that and we'll have that up soon.
